About Me

My photo

I am still trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up. In the meantime, I am going to chew a big wad of bubble gum just for fun, take more pictures, write a picture book, and hang out with my puppy dog.

NOV 14 To-Do Lists

Today, I am thankful for To-Do lists.

To-Do lists help keep me on track, or at least tell me what track I should be on. My favorite part about To-Do lists is not the feeling of accomplishment I get when I check one of those boxes off, but rather the overwhelming feeling and anxiety I get when I see the list grow longer and longer by the day.

To-Do lists are just a list of stressors when deadlines are involved. For example, a to-do item, like blogging about To-Do lists before a specific day is over, is more stressful than learning to play the piano or living a more adventurous life.

What to do? What to do?
Now, I have to look at my To-Do list to see what to-do item I am going to stress about blogging tomorrow before that day is over.

BLAHG you later!

NOV 13 Pockets

Today, I am thankful for pockets.

I LOVE POCKETS! The more, the merrier. Pockets are just simply convenient. They can hold whatever needs holding for you. You can organize all your stuff for easy access. Most of all, pockets come in different forms and on many items like garments, accessories, even on furniture in the form of compartments, like a secret jewelry drawer. Here are some of my favorite examples;

Plenty of pockets on cargo shorts/pants and messenger bags.
Compartments galore for the OCD
Not to mention outer wear and their ample pockets.
Jackets seem to be my favorite item to have as many pockets as possible. I recently came across a brand of jacket named SCOTTEVEST (www.scottevest.com) that is the ultimate for pocket nerds like me. They specialize in attire (mostly outerwear) that has a lot of pockets, exposed and hidden. I am in love with these three jackets:

The SeV Revolution Plus Jacket (the cold weather jacket). I'll take a medium in black, please!

The Revolution Plus with its 26 pockets.

The "X-ray" view on the inside pockets.
The Travel Vest. I'll take a medium in black, please!

24 hidden pockets

Able to hold an iPad. That's right, I said an iPad.

And the ultimate, my favorite, my next jacket purchase...(and the not-so-much-for-cold-weather jacket), The Expedition Jacket. I'll take a medium in black, please!

The Expedition Jacket with 37 pockets.

I'll need more junk to fill all these pockets.
THIS is a dream jacket. Layer it well, and I'm in pocket heaven year round. I'll be sweating my ass off in the summer, but I'll have all those pockets to hold my towels and bottled water, maybe even a change of undies.

I'll take a medium in black for all, please!

NOV 12 Curse Words

Today, I am thankful for curse words.

BLEEP yeah! BLEEP (the F-word) is one of my favorite curse words. Sometimes things just piss you off so much that the only thing you can say is BLEEP! BLEEP you! BLEEP off! MotherBLEEPER!

Although BLEEP is so versatile in its grammatical usage in the English language, I prefer to use it for its emotive release. Why? Because I BLEEPING can. It makes me feel BLEEPING good without having to kill some BLEEPING idiot. I scream it loudly in my car when I am stuck in BLEEPING traffic, when the Cowboys makes stupid BLEEPING mistakes, when I'm BLEEPING killing time for no reason, and as BLEEPING noise filler between sentences...umm..BLEEP...that I'm saying.

An eCard making an encore appearance.

Next time you find yourself upset, filled with rage, or just want to express yourself with a curse word, yell at the top of your lungs...BLEEP! BLEEP off, muthaBLEEPER!

BLAHG you later!

NOV 11 Plastic Bags

Today, I am thankful for plastic bags.

You don't know how valuable plastic bags are until you have to carry all your groceries back to your car in the shopping cart, throw each item in the trunk and have everything ping-ponging back and forth because your hometown decided to vote for banning plastic bags over other important issues. Way to go!

Stray bullets from gang wars? Meh. Illegal drugs infesting our hometown? Meh. Plastic bags at retail stores? HOLY FUCKBALLS, BATMAN!! Let's put an end to that shit! That is unacceptable! Plastic bags are ruining our society!

I am stocking up on plastic bags for Armageddon.

Thank you, Target, for all these plastic bags.
I don't care what people say. Plastic bags aren't just for groceries. They make good bathroom trash can bags. They make excellent lunch boxes for kids and adults. They make great suitcases. They are compact when folded neatly. They make excellent wrapping paper. They make great insulators, protecting glassware and warming the homeless. Best of all, they're free, unless you live in my hometown, then you'll have to pay for them.

I had a hard time finding this silver plastic bag holder.

There, that's better. See plastic bags are compact when they need to be.
Next time you're at your local grocery store, take a moment to appreciate the plastic bags for ALL their uses. Who knows how long they'll exist if people keep voting to ban them from their most natural environment, grocery stores.

BLAHG you later!

NOV 10 Apple Products

Today, I am thankful for Apple products.

Steve Jobs was a master mind. (Why did you have to die? That was so selfish of you!)

I love Apple products. Other people may not agree with me when I say that Steve Jobs created something innovative and way ahead of its time. All their products are simple, elegant, and powerful.

Oh Apple, you make me broke!

Apple products...just work. If Apple is not the king of the technology world, then why is the competition trying so hard to imitate their products?

God Bless Apple! I should have invested money in you back when Forest Gump did.

BLAHG you later!
